- Designer Tip Use a peninsular like this customer to keep the line-run of your kitchen whilst also gaining seating
Stunning simplicity steals the stage with this Shaker Kitchen. One of our expert designers worked with this customer to embrace the beauty of this room, including a peninsula to create the perfect space for cooking and socializing.
This customer went for a J-shape tap and porcelain sink on the peninsula, which works as a focus point in the kitchen, and means they don’t have to miss out on the family fun and chatter whilst they carry on in the kitchen. Peninsulas can be a great option for those who want the features of an island, but don’t want to lose the openness of the room. Oven towers, such as the one here, are brilliantly suited to cooking as having the appliance at this height means no more leaning and crouching. The tall units also make a nice difference in levels.
Our customer went with a striking white worktop, the Blanco Zeus Extreme Quartz, which pairs extremely well with the white tiling in the room. The overall effect is clean and fresh, with the Dove Grey offering a real softness. This is a real classic example of simple but effective.
